Build Day #2?

There are a number of small jobs to be done at Pearson Park, and we're looking for helpers.

If you can spare time on Friday, September 18th, please come along at 8am.
We'll provide snacks and your meals.
If you have a wheelbarrow and a shovel, please bring them along!

We'll get things rolling on Friday, and see how we can move along from there to get these things complete as soon as we can.

To do list:

  1. Prepare for installation of Zip-line, Vega, and second spinner bowl
  2. Prepare for installation of platform swing: this is a fully accessible swing for use with a wheelchair
  3. Creation of a basketball court
  4. Completion of gazebo
  5. Minor repairs and maintenance to equipment, ditches, and fencing
  6. Placement of posts for signage
  7. Finish fencing around bridge
  8. Gardening maintenance- stake trees, add mulch, fix sods, etc.
For more information, please contact any member of the committee.

$7,208 Donation!

Through the sale of tickets on a 51" TV, Scotiabank's Wesleyville Branch raised $3,604 towards Pearson Park.  Because Scotiabank matches funds, we're receiving a total donation of $7,208!

Carter Agencies donated the television and helped with ticket sales.

Thank you!

Congratulations to Roland Pickett of Centreville who was the winner of the 51" TV that was drawn at Pearson Park on Build Day!
