Mission

The Pearson Park community project aims to create a welcoming, safe space adjacent to Pearson Academy where individuals of all ages and abilities can gather together to enjoy quality play, fitness, and socialization.  Our mission is to enhance lives, increase community capacity, resiliency, and instill a sense of pride among citizens for generations to come.

Goals
  • To create a space that is suited to our unique identity which embraces our natural environment.
  • To create a safe and secure area that fosters quality designated play areas for individuals of all ages and abilities.
  • to inspire hope and foster a sense of pride in our space and community by sharing the responsibility and maintenance among stakeholders to ensure long term care for generations to come.
  • To foster the development of social responsibility in children by including them in Pearson Park planning and build day.
  • To develop well rounded, community minded, physically engaged youth.
