Big In-Kind Donation News!

The municipality of New-Wes-Valley incorporates the communities of Newtown, Templeman, Pound Cove, Wesleyville, Brookfield, Badger's Quay, Pool's Island, and Valleyfield.

 
Last night, Pearson Park committee members Juan, Bob, & Ruby met with town councillors at a the council chambers.  They asked the town to take care of all preparation of the grounds to be ready for build day on June 22nd. 

There was no debate... all councillors agreed that they would begin work immediately, having their engineers take a look at the location and would take care of all site preparation costs.

This is a huge financial gain for the park, as our fundraising efforts can now go towards playground equipment and other park fixtures.  Thank you for your co-operation, councillors of New-Wes-Valley!
