Mock Jail raised $1400

 

The SUF and the RCMP co-sponsored a Mock Jail in aid of Pearson Park.

Residents were arrested and brought to jail on a number of offences such as:

• giving away too many smelt
• having too many children
• drinking too much beer
• being a sore loser while playing cards
• playing too much music in church

Some residents were repeat offenders, and some had to be 'cuffed'. 

 

There were about fifty more offenders out there, but didn't get nabbed due to underpolicing in our area (time restraints!)
