READ WITH ME and PRESCHOOL groups
held hop-a-thons on March 25th and 20th
Children involved (3 and 4 year olds) adked friends and neighbors to sponsor them.
A total of 33 children took part, and raised $3,467.05!!!
The children hopped to four Spring/Easter songs for a total of 9 minutes.
Some of the participants danced after a while because the hopping was becoming harder to do and they were getting tired!
The two children with the higest amounts raised received Easter baskets full of goodies compliments of the Pearson Park Committee. All participants took home a pair of bunny ears each, and a certificate which reads "I hopped for Pearson Park".
